When Lil' Wayne came calling for some new gear from bay area streetwear brand Rebel8, Mike Giant responded by fitting Wayne with his own custom new era cap. Sporting the words "Young Money" under the brim, Wayne's record label. “Although REBEL8 has been grinding it out for over six years, we are still a very small clothing label,” Joshy D., Rebel8 co-founder revealed while being interviewed. “When someone of such fame and popularity as Lil Wayne shows interest in the Rebel8 brand, it’s just a beautiful thing. Someone in the top 1% reaching down and picking our brand to represent and wear feels fucking amazing.”

Crooks & Castles Taylored Suit continued

The suit turned up looking really nice, i thought. The 3-piece with maroon velvet is some shit. This suit was worth every shiny penny untill you see the silkscreened back,or threaded back or drawn on back or what the fuck, it doesnt matter. It's a buzz kill.  great idea, funny execution.

Agenda Tradeshow

The Agenda Tradeshow ,started by Aaron Levant as a response to the lack of representation for independent brands, took off earlier this week.The Tradeshow is set like a comic convention, and it gives the opportunity for distributors to peep upcoming seasonal collections from brands in order to plan stock orders. Over a hundred brands came to display some sort of project or collaboration; this included Huf, 10 Deep, Crooks And Castles,Fresh Jive, and Obey, demonstrating exactly why the Agenda Tradeshow is so effective and what precisely it's reputation was built upon. It doesn't matter to connect with the largest brand, but the right brand.The brand with those loyal followers following. LA's original Fresh Jive, in particular, was the topic of conversation among distributors. Many exciting projects were revealed, Including a sophisticated,unexpected, suede hightop shoe line to be released by Kr3w.

Huf Footwear First Look

HUF has consistently continued to impress me the past couple years with a wide assortment of supreme n' clean collaborations, especially in the shoe world. So it excites my soles to see the recent plans on releasing their own line by Spring 2010. Upon releasing their first independent footwear collection, expect to see a lot of different colorways and material variety. The San Francisco based Shop, founded by Keith Hufnagel, plans to give a better look at the Agenda Tradeshow.

The first, and as of yet only, photo released for preview depicts some verry clean kicks, made from canvas and leather. A signature "H" on each sole, your tracks in the snow are free advertising. If that H.U.F. black/white tag makes your heart skip beats, these are a must cop.
